BeneCoach, the Free Online Tool Providing Investment Guidance to Plan Participants

Planning and saving for retirement can seem overwhelming. Historically, retirement plan participants tend to find choosing investments the most difficult aspect of retirement saving. BeneCoach is a computer software program that provides individual investment guidance through the use of computer models on a customized and non-customized platform. It is a free service and helps you determine your risk tolerance, the likelihood of meeting your goals, and what investment options may be right for you. Best of all, BeneCoach is free to use as many times as you wish, allowing you to run multiple scenarios to find the exact right path for you!

When using BeneCoach, there are some things to keep in mind. First, look at your total retirement picture and determine your time frame.[i] Try and figure out how many years you have left to work. This will help determine your risk tolerance. Also consider how comfortable you are taking on risk and the ups and downs of the stock market. If you are unsure, BeneCoach can help guide you in the right direction.
